Sk Mashfiqur Rahman 

I am a Ph.D. student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University (NCSU). I received my B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2016. My undergraduate thesis was focused on applied and industrial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and computational heat transfer (CHT). I earned my M.Sc. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2019. My Master's thesis was concentrated on the development of robust and improved physics-based and data-driven models for atmospheric and geophysical turbulent flows. Even though I have a research interest in broad areas of science and engineering, my primary research expertise are in applied and computational mathematics, machine learning augmented CFD, and high-performance computing. As a long-term career goal, I aim to develop a reputation as a world-class expert on interdisciplinary computational science research.
